Think you're a fit for SAI360?
As a Sr. Product Manager, you will serve as the domain authority on how healthcare organizations manage governance, risk, compliance (GRC), and ethics programs. You will translate real-world regulatory and operational needs into clear user stories and requirements that help shape our product roadmap. You will also work directly with customers and prospects, bringing credibility and insight to conversations about how our platform solves their most pressing challenges.
What you'll do:
- Serve as the go-to expert on healthcare GRC needs, including regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, third-party and vendor risk, policy management, audit, and ethics and compliance programs.
- Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements that reflect how healthcare organizations actually operate, and partner with Product Managers to prioritize them.
- Translate complex regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, HITRUST, CMS, OIG compliance program guidance, FDA, and state-level requirements into product capabilities.
- Conduct customer and prospect discovery sessions, workshops, and demos to understand workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes.
- Validate product designs and prototypes against healthcare industry practices and provide feedback to UX and Engineering teams.
- Stay current on regulatory changes, industry trends, and competitive developments in healthcare compliance and risk management and share those insights across the organization.
- Support sales and customer success teams with domain-specific guidance during evaluations, implementations, and renewals.
- Contribute to product documentation, training materials, and thought leadership initiatives including blogs, webinars, and conference presentations.
What you'll bring to the table:
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, risk management, audit, or a related GRC function within health systems, payers, pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare services organizations.
- Working knowledge of healthcare regulations and frameworks such as HIPAA, the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and HITRUST or similar security frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear user stories, requirements, or process documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain regulatory concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience engaging directly with customers or prospects in discovery sessions, workshops, or presentations.
- Experience with GRC software platforms or working alongside them in a compliance or risk role preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile product development and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Aha! preferred.
- Certifications such as CHC, CHPC, CIA, CISA, CRMA, or CHRC are beneficial.
- Experience in product management, business analysis, or solution consulting preferred.
- Experience with enterprise customers across multiple healthcare sub-sectors preferred.
