About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven, AI-first marketer to join the KINNECT Group. This is a full-time, completely remote role, with company headquarters in Brisbane, Australia. Candidates must be located in Australia.
About the KINNECT Group
KINNECT is on a mission of Creating Health Certainty at Work. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Brisbane, we're a national occupational health provider helping people be healthy, safe and productive at work.
This role supports growth across the full KINNECT Group of companies and brands:
- KINNECT — national occupational health services, including pre-employment medicals, health monitoring, injury prevention and workplace rehabilitation.
- KINNECT Training — our training and education arm delivering workplace health and safety training.
- Carelever — cloud-based occupational health software that makes managing health processes and data simple.
- No More Pain Ergonomics — ergonomic products and workplace equipment that help prevent injury and improve comfort at work.
- Longev — doctor led longevity health programs.
You will establish a collaborative working relationship with leadership, who will work with you on strategic and big-picture goals while you take charge of tactical implementation and execution. You'll partner closely with our sales and business development team to turn marketing activity into real pipeline.
The ability to organise, plan and structure your workload in an autonomous fashion will be absolutely key to your success in this role. We neither have the time nor the inclination to micromanage you. You'll have a lot of freedom in this role, but also a lot of responsibility — and your performance will be measured on outcomes, not activity.
The Six Non-Negotiables of This Role Are
- AI and tech fluency. This is a technology-first role. You don't need to be an engineer, but you must be genuinely comfortable adopting AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, EmDash CMS and similar) and marketing automation platforms, and able to quickly learn and build new AI-enabled workflows. If you resist or passively ignore AI capability, this is not the role for you.
- ****You'll be crafting direct marketing campaigns across email, web, social and content. Your written skills need to be excellent, and we will expect to see samples of your previous work.
- Analytical and data-driven. A large part of this role is tracking pipeline contribution, cost per qualified lead, and website and search performance — then drawing out insights that inform decisions. You must be able to structure data and act on it, not rely on gut feel alone.
- Being a self-starter. Goals will be clearly defined from the outset, but often it will be your job to determine what needs to happen, when, and how. As a lean, one-person function to start, the attitude of continually starting things on your own is essential.
- Being teachable and coachable. There will be a LOT of learning on the job, as we do marketing very differently. There is no place here for know-it-alls. We hire based primarily on attitude.
- Results and pipeline focus. Marketing here is measured by the qualified pipeline it generates and the brand presence it builds. You must be comfortable owning hard targets and being accountable for the numbers.
- This can be either a completely remote role or you can work within any of our 25 offices throughout Australia.
- Flexible work hours (though irregular hours may be expected based on working across different time zones and around events).
- A rare chance to build a modern, AI-first marketing function from the ground up, with direct access to leadership and real strategic influence.
- This is a full-time role.
- Salary expectation of $85,000 - $100,000 Per Year + Superannuation
