About the Role
As the founding Head of Product Marketing, you will shape how a legal technology company explains its products and value to the market. Reporting to the Head of GTM, you will partner with leadership and teams across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to make complex AI and legal technology clear, credible, and memorable.
What You'll Do
Develop product positioning and messaging that translates technical capabilities into differentiated customer value.
Own the editorial calendar and set the marketing narrative and priorities.
Shape launch strategies by defining the customer problem, audience, messaging, proof points, and story.
Write and edit content across the website, product pages, email, blogs, social media, presentations, and sales materials.
Work with executives to turn their expertise into compelling posts, videos, panels, and interviews.
Interview customers and collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to bring customer language and buying insights into marketing.
Direct video and content strategy, define creative hooks, and present on camera when appropriate.
Create sales enablement narratives that explain products at brief, mid-level, and enterprise depth.
Monitor competitors and the AI market, and use performance marketing insights to strengthen messaging.
What We're Looking For
At least 7 years of experience in product marketing, communications, or storytelling for AI, enterprise software, legal technology, or similarly complex products.
Experience in law, legal technology, legal journalism, or marketing to legal audiences, with an understanding of how lawyers evaluate and buy products.
A strong record of positioning products, planning launches, conducting customer research, and developing sales enablement.
Excellent writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly without losing nuance.
Experience directing content and video production, collaborating across functions and with external agencies, and presenting on camera.
Proficiency with modern AI tools; familiarity with AI architecture and infrastructure is valuable.
Experience in performance marketing, journalism, or a legal background followed by a move into marketing may be helpful.
