What You'll Do:

• Maintain accurate records for all daily transactions and financial records, preparing and analysing financial data.
• Ensure bank reconciliations are completed daily by tracking bank deposits, customer receipts and bill payments.
• Manage the invoicing and billing process for customers in CRM and Xero, and resolve queries.
• Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable registers.
• Follow up on overdue payments with customers and account managers.
• Process bill payments in line with their due dates and monthly payment cycles.
• Complete month-end reporting and reconciliation, ensuring all month-end accruals are captured in the books and the financial records are ready for consolidation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Ensure accurate record keeping through auditing and analysing financial data.
• Assist the CFO with consolidation, budget, forecast and preparation of guided board materials.
• Generate reports and analysis with the financial management and support systems, ensuring the accuracy of data across different systems (Xero, Dynamics 365 CRM, payment systems etc.).
• Extract non-financial business data with the help of the Tech team and summarise monthly results.
• Assist in the preparation of the R&D refund application.
• Collaborate with other teams on potential efficiency improvements to ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Assist in filing ASIC updates.
• Assist the CFO with any ad hoc requests on financial and non-financial data analysis and preparation of reconciliations.

What You'll Need:

• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Pre-CPA
• Minimum of 5 years strong/solid accounting and bookkeeping experience
• Knowledge in Xero and Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
