What You'll Be Doing:
- Direct District & COE Drop-offs: Deliver print samples, pilot materials, and promotional collateral directly to County Offices of Education and school districts across assigned geographic areas.

- Conference Setup & Tear-Down: Assist with the physical setup, arrangement of display materials, and tear-down of Newsela exhibition booths at statewide and regional conferences.
- Booth Representation: When needed, provide additional manpower at conference booths to engage attendees, capture lead information; and introduce Threads & Themes.
- Pilot Logistics: Support the delivery and distribution of pilot classroom materials, teacher guide packages, and student login collateral for active district pilot programs.
About You:
- 2+ years of experience in K-12 education, educational sales support, conference event staffing, or field marketing within the EdTech/publishing industry. (Prior classroom teaching or curriculum experience in California is highly preferred).
- Familiarity with the California public school system, County Offices of Education (COEs), and basic ELA/ELD instructional terminology.
- Valid California Driver’s License, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of auto insurance (travel reimbursement provided).
- Ability to lift and transport boxes of print materials/booth equipment weighing up to 35–40 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings for drop-offs or full days during multi-day educational conferences. No overnight travel.
