About the Role

The Associate Director Business Enablement leads the Business Enablement function within IT Transformation & Governance, connecting business needs with process, technology and strategic IT decision-making. The role leads a team of five covering Business Process Architecture and IT Strategy Consulting and ensures these capabilities are effectively deployed across domains and transformation initiatives. It owns the development of consistent approaches for business process design, strategic technology and sourcing advisory, and the translation of business needs into scalable solutions. Success is reflected in greater transparency across business processes, well-founded strategic decisions and stronger alignment between business, architecture and technology.

About Your Tasks

• Lead the Business Enablement team of five direct reports, setting priorities, developing capabilities and ensuring effective deployment of Business Process Architecture and IT Strategy Consulting expertise. 

• Define the Business Enablement operating model and ways of working to provide consistent, high-quality support across business domains and transformation initiatives. 

• Shape the approach to Business Process Architecture, enabling transparency of end-to-end processes and the design of scalable, automatable target processes aligned with the broader architecture. 

• Guide strategic IT consulting across technology, sourcing and transformation topics to enable well-founded decisions aligned with business and IT strategy. 

• Drive cross-functional alignment between business, architecture and technology stakeholders to translate business challenges into structured process, technology and strategic outcomes. 

• Ensure that process insights and business requirements inform architecture and technology decisions, strengthening the connection between business reality and the evolving technology landscape. 

• Enable structured evaluation of technology and sourcing options, including market perspectives and build-versus-buy considerations, to support scalable and sustainable solutions. 

• Represent Business Enablement in relevant governance and decision-making forums, bringing together process, business and strategic technology perspectives. 

• Develop Business Enablement capabilities and standards in line with organizational needs, increasing the function’s effectiveness and impact across Redcare Pharmacy.

• Business leaders and domain stakeholders: Aligns on business challenges, end-to-end processes and transformation needs. 

• IT leadership, Architecture and Engineering: Connects business needs, process perspectives and strategic technology decisions. 

• Transformation and product teams: Enables cross-functional initiatives through process architecture and strategic advisory. 

• External technology vendors and partners: Supports strategic evaluation of market capabilities and sourcing options. 

Qualifications

About You

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience across IT strategy, business/IT consulting, business process architecture, transformation or related disciplines, including leadership responsibility. 

• Hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field. 

• Demonstrate experience leading multidisciplinary professional teams and developing capabilities across process, strategy or transformation disciplines. 

• Demonstrate experience working across business and technology functions on complex, cross-functional transformation topics. 

Technical Skills and Competencies

• Apply strong knowledge of business process architecture and process modelling, including the design of scalable and automation-ready target processes. 

• Apply strong strategic consulting capabilities across technology strategy, sourcing, market evaluation and build-versus-buy decision-making. 

• Translate complex business, process and technology topics into structured recommendations and influence stakeholders across multiple seniority levels. 

• Experience leveraging AI, intelligent automation, workflow technologies, or low-code platforms to simplify workflows, increase transparency, and improve decision support.
