About the role
The Company
A leading global financial services organization with a strong international presence across multiple regions. The firm is dedicated to driving technology transformation, operational excellence, and standardized global delivery to support its expanding business footprint.
The Team
You will join a dynamic Regional Technology & IT Governance team that works directly alongside senior technology leadership, including Regional CTOs, ETO leaders, and Regional CIO Offices. This team acts as the central bridge connecting global technology organizations, regional oversight bodies, local country entities, and global shared service centers to execute critical IT transformation initiatives.
The Role
As a Senior IT Transformation & Governance Project Manager, you will lead three strategic, large-scale technology initiatives: standardizing infrastructure and production operations to global delivery models, executing the controlled transition of eligible activities to Global Shared Service Centres, and transferring regional/local IT governance and CIO Office functions into a streamlined target operating model. In this position, you will drive integrated transition planning, design target operating models, establish bi-weekly executive dashboards, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure seamless service continuity, regulatory compliance, and risk management across all phases.
The Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in IT project management, technology governance, or IT production management within a complex international environment.
- Deep practical knowledge of infrastructure rationalization, cloud migration, IT operations, ITSM, observability, incident management, resilience, backup and recovery, continuity planning, and production governance.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT asset management, configuration and inventory reconciliation, technology obsolescence, vulnerability remediation, and governance reporting.
- Strong capabilities in transformation project management, transition management, shared services, and IT strategy.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating regional, local country, global, offshore, and nearshore technology teams.
- Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder facilitation, synthesis, risk management, and fact-based escalation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, maintain audit-ready documentation and decision traceability, and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Fluent in English (mandatory). Proficiency in Japanese and/or Chinese is strongly preferred to support effective coordination with regional teams and the review of documentation subject to Japanese and Taiwanese regulatory frameworks.
- Access to appropriate legal and regulatory expertise to support compliance assessments, interpretation of regulatory expectations, and related discussions or negotiations.
