We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Tender & Proposal Writer to prepare, compile, and submit professional bids and documentation for Australian IT and Government tenders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Australian procurement process, especially within the IT sector, and a proven track record of delivering successful submissions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Identify relevant IT and Government tender opportunities (optional if needed).
  
• Prepare, write, and edit high-quality proposals and bid documents.
  
• Manage end-to-end tender submission processes in accordance with guidelines.
  
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather technical and commercial inputs.
  
• Ensure all documents meet compliance, legal, and formatting requirements.
  
• Submit proposals on relevant platforms (e.g. AusTender, eTendering portals).
  
• Track tender outcomes and provide feedback for future improvement.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience preparing proposals for Australian Government or IT tenders.
  
• Strong understanding of AusTender and other state/territory platforms.
  
• Exceptional written communication and documentation skills.
  
• Ability to interpret complex RFTs, RFQs, and tender specifications.
  
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, managed IT services, cloud, or digital solutions is highly desirable.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in IT, Business, Procurement, or Communications.
  
• Experience with government compliance frameworks (e.g. IRAP, ISO, ESS, etc.).
  
• APMP or similar proposal writing certifications (desirable but not essential).
