About the role
Tech Transactions Paralegal (Remote)
$125K to $160K
We are looking for a Tech Transactions Paralegalwith 4 - 20 years of experience to support a rapidly growing, fully remote startup law firm in managing the commercial contract lifecycle for venture-backed clients. You'll work directly alongside attorneys on the Tech Transactions team, helping them operate at higher leverage as demand for MSAs, DPAs, SaaS agreements, and other commercial contracts continues to surge.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing, redlining, and managing commercial agreements (MSAs, NDAs, SaaS agreements, DPAs, BAAs) under attorney supervision
- Supporting the full commercial contract lifecycle - from intake through execution - for venture-backed startup clients across AI, health tech, ed tech, biotech, and more
- Handling healthcare-specific agreements and ensuring HIPAA compliance provisions are properly addressed
- Improving internal processes, documentation, and handoffs to increase team efficiency and quality of delivery
- Collaborating with attorneys, project managers, and engineers in a squad-based model to deliver embedded, always-on client support
- Managing contract workflows
- Helping attorneys operate at higher leverage
Key Requirements
- Hands-on experience reviewing and marking up commercial agreements (MSAs, NDAs, SaaS agreements) - you need to know how to mark them up, not just manage them
- Broad industry exposure across multiple verticals; narrow experience with a single client or industry is a dealbreaker
- Healthcare experience is a must - familiarity with BAAs and HIPAA-related provisions
- Comfortable in a fully remote, fast-paced, high-autonomy environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience participating in or leading AI tool rollouts (Harvey, Legora, Co-pilot)
- Genuine interest in building something from the ground up and improving how legal services are delivered - not just looking for a remote job
- Experience working across a wide range of industries
Preferred
- Experience in the healthcare industry
