Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced and passionate ServiceNow Portal Developer who wants to build modern, user-friendly digital experiences on the ServiceNow platform. You will have an important role in designing and developing customer-facing and/or employee-facing portals that simplify everyday work, improve user experiences, and support business automation.

Within our ServiceNow teams, we collaborate closely with our customers to identify innovative solutions that help them achieve better business results. Our work combines business understanding, technology expertise, and a user-centric approach to solution development. We believe that great digital services are not only technically robust but also intuitive, accessible, and enjoyable to use.

As a ServiceNow Portal Developer, you will work closely with customers, solution architects, service designers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to turn business requirements into high-quality digital experiences. We work in agile teams, using iterative development and prototyping to demonstrate value early and continuously improve our solutions.

To sum it up, you’ll benefit from the following skills:

ServiceNow development expertise

• 3+ years of Hands-on experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow Service Portals

• Experience with UI Builder and Now Experience Framework is highly valued.

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data models, and development best practices.

• Experience with ServiceNow scripting, including Client Scripts, Script Includes, Business Rules, and Glide APIs.

Front-end development skills

• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and AngularJS, particularly for developing and customizing Service Portal widgets.

• Ability to customize portal layouts, themes, widgets, and user interface components.

• Familiarity with modern front-end development principles, performance optimization, responsive user interfaces and browser compatibility.

• Passion about Business Technology, and what innovative solutions can do for organisations.

• Self driven attitude and able to work independently

Other skills and qualifications

• Ability to translate UX/UI designs, wireframes, and prototypes into functional portal solutions.

• Understanding of accessibility standards, such as WCAG, and the ability to implement accessible user interfaces.

• Interest in utilizing AI in development, debugging, risk assesment and alternative viewpoints and innovations. Interest in AI agents and automation opportunities.

• Fluency in English

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow portals, including Employee Center and Business Portal solutions.

• Develop and customize portal widgets, pages, components, themes, and layouts to meet customer requirements.

• Build modern user experiences using UI Builder and Now Experience technologies where appropriate.
