Everbridge, a global leader in critical communications and enterprise safety solutions, is on the lookout for a Senior Full Stack Developer

Developer to join our team in Bangalore . This is a remote/home-based position to be based anywhere in India .   We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer II who is passionate about building scalable, reliable, and high-quality on-premises software systems. As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will contribute to the development of our next-generation platform and play an important role within a cross-functional Agile team, delivering features that help our customers protect lives and keep critical operations running.   You will be part of our integrated Public Warning platform, whose mission is to help keep people safe and enable faster, more effective emergency operations. In this role, you will design and develop full-stack services that power the platform while collaborating closely with multiple Scrum teams. We value engineers who are adaptable, committed to continuous learning, and comfortable using modern AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity, code quality, and overall software delivery.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Java and Scala.
• Build and evolve GraphQL APIs, RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems that support business-critical workflows.
• Design, develop and develop high-performance frontend services using Angular 19, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx.
• Develop micro-services interacting within clusters using GraphQL, Restful APIs (ie. OpenAPI).
• Design, develop and maintain integration with Keycloak IAM to support secure user authentication and authorization.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and practices to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews while maintaining high standards of quality and security.
• Drive observability, reliability, automation, and operational excellence across services, including monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
• Support production systems through on-call participation, incident management, and continuous service improvements.
• Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge-

What you'll bring:

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong expertise in Java and Scala development.
• Strong expertise in Frontend development using Angular 19, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx
• Experience designing and building on-premise system using Angular, GraphQL APIs, RESTful APIs, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and related container orchestration technologies.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance, reliability, and secure software design principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Kiro, or similar platforms.
• Ability to critically evaluate, validate, and improve AI-generated code while maintaining quality, security, and maintainability standards.
• Interest in continuously learning and applying emerging AI-assisted development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and production support practices.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience in large code-base products or enterprise grade software.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Working knowledge of and modern frontend development practices.
• Building AI-enabled applications, agents, automation workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
