PositionOverview

This position is a percontract,remote contract position.This position would be best suited for an independent contractor who is looking to supplement their current “book-of-business.”

Purpose

The Salesforce Administrator willbe responsible forthe day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of Salesforce.com applications. The Salesforce Admin will work with stakeholders, customers, and vendors to ensure the successful adoption of Salesforce.com as the primary tool for customer service, sales, and marketing.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

• Create andmaintainusers, roles, profiles, security settings, custom objects, and fields

• Develop andmaintainreports, dashboards, workflows, and other automation

• Monitor and analyze Salesforce usage to ensure that the system is being used to its fullest potential

• Develop, document, andmaintainoperational processes and procedures related to Salesforce

• Provide technical support and training to end-users on Salesforce usage

Requirements

3+ years of Salesforce Administration experience

• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration

• Experience with Lightning platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities

• Proficient in SQL and Apex programming

Preferred Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role

• Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification

• Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems

• Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration

• Exceptional ability to create andmaintainSalesforce databases

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is preferred

• Experience working for a consulting or software development company

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and additional tools such as Visio or Git software

• Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level

• Must have excellent follow-through skills

• Desire and proven ability to learn and grow
