Public Safety CAD/RMS Systems Consultant

AlphaGov is engaging a Public Safety CAD/RMS Systems Consultant for current work. A university police department is replacing its computer-aided dispatch, records management, and mobile field reporting systems with an integrated solution.

We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.

What you'll do

• Document dispatch, records, and field reporting workflows and requirements
• Evaluate CAD/RMS/mobile solutions and integration (NCIC/state systems, NIBRS reporting)
• Plan data conversion, interfaces, and CJIS-compliant hosting
• Support implementation, testing, training, and go-live
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Requirements

Required

• At least 5 years of professional experience implementing or managing public safety CAD and RMS systems
• Knowledge of CJIS Security Policy and NIBRS reporting
• Experience with law enforcement or emergency communications operations
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant

Nice to have

- Campus or university police experience

• Experience with major CAD/RMS vendors (Tyler, Motorola, Hexagon, CentralSquare)
• Former dispatcher, records supervisor, or public safety IT lead
