Middle SEO Specialist

We are looking for a Middle SEO Specialist to strengthen our SEO team and work on projects in highly competitive markets. In this role, you will develop and implement SEO strategies, identify growth opportunities, run experiments, analyze competitors and SERPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organic traffic and visibility.

 

What you will do: 

• SEO Strategy & Action Plans: Developing, coordinating, and implementing actionable SEO strategies aimed at achieving ambitious organic traffic and visibility targets.
• AI Integration & Process Automation: Implementing AI tools and automated workflows to streamline SEO processes, competitor monitoring, data analysis, and content and link-building operations.
• Growth Opportunities & SEO Experiments: Identifying new traffic and conversion opportunities, testing SEO hypotheses, and exploring non-standard approaches in highly competitive search results.
• iGaming Market & Competitor Analysis: Conducting ongoing competitor research and SERP monitoring to respond to algorithm updates, market developments, and changes within the iGaming industry.
• Traffic Recovery & Penalty Management: Diagnosing significant traffic and ranking declines and developing recovery strategies for websites affected by Google manual actions, algorithmic demotions, spam-related penalties, or technical issues.
• Cross-Functional Team Coordination: Collaborating with content managers, link builders, developers, product managers, designers, and SEO leadership to ensure consistent and effective strategy execution.
• SEO Reporting & Prioritisation: Preparing regular performance reports with clear conclusions, priorities, recommendations, and next steps.

What we expect from you: 

• Solid understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Ability to conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent analysis.
• Experience with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and similar SEO tools.
• Ability to perform technical SEO audits and identify crawling, indexing, canonicalisation, redirect, and internal linking issues.
• Experience creating content briefs and SEO requirements for copywriters.
• Ability to optimise existing content based on keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversion data, and competitor analysis.
• Ability to apply E-E-A-T principles when improving website content, author profiles, and overall website credibility.
• Experience with link-building strategies and backlink profile analysis.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, structured data, and website architecture.
• Ability to explain SEO recommendations clearly to writers, developers, and other team members.
