About the role

Veeva Systems is a mission-driven organization and pioneer in industry cloud, helping life sciences companies bring therapies to patients faster. We're not just any public company – we made history in 2021 by becoming a public benefit corporation (PBC), legally bound to balancing the interests of customers, employees, society, and investors.   As a Work Anywhere company, we support your flexibility to work from home or in the office, so you can thrive in your ideal environment.   Join us in transforming the life sciences industry, committed to making a positive impact on its customers, employees, and communities.

The Role

Veeva Network is a comprehensive Master Data Management (MDM) solution that helps life sciences companies manage critical product and customer data. Veeva OpenData is a customer reference database offering access to more than 16 million healthcare professional and organization profiles. Our solutions enable faster go-to-market and more informed customer engagement across the commercial landscape.   As our client base continues to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled MDM Technical Architect to lead complex enterprise-level implementations across Veeva Network and OpenData. You will work closely with commercial life sciences customers to design, implement, and optimize robust MDM architectures. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, deep technical expertise, and strong communication skills to guide customers through their data transformation journey.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and deliver MDM architectures using Veeva Network, covering data modeling, integration, governance, and data quality
  • Own project delivery for enterprise clients, from initial scoping through deployment and post-go-live support
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including data models, architecture diagrams, and integration specifications
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams and implementation partners
  • Support change management activities to drive adoption of MDM best practices
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders
  • Contribute to internal initiatives to continuously improve service quality and delivery frameworks

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in MDM, data integration, and data governance within complex enterprise environments
  • Strong consulting background with proven ability to architect and implement MDM solutions
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Veeva Network, Informatica MDM, Reltio, or similar
  • Deep expertise in data modeling, data quality, integration technologies (SOAP/REST), and governance methodologies
  • Familiarity with CRM ecosystems and enterprise data domains (e.g., customer, HCP/HCO, product)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment across multiple assignments
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Consumer Health sectors
  • Familiarity with OpenData and integration of third-party reference data
  • Certification from a CRM or MDM software vendor
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts, SQL, ETL tools, or web services technologies
  • Exposure to integration frameworks, user authentication methods, or batch data processes
  • Additional European language(s)
