For one of our clients, we arelooking for aLead Machine Learning Engineer.
Work model: Remote, Bulgaria
What You’ll Do

• Deliver best-in-industry modelsfor detection of subrogation opportunities using the latest ML advancements andbest software engineering practices
  
• Meet and collaborate withbusiness stakeholders (customers, sales and product managers) to drive thedevelopment of new models and features based on
  
• Collaborate with data engineeringand software engineering team to ensure a smooth flow of data across teams andAPIs related to outbound subrogation
  
• Mentor junior ML engineers in theoutbound subro team to form a high-performing team
  

What You Bring

• Deep understanding of MLlifecycle: development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
  
• Excellent communication skills;ability to explain complex technical concepts to non- technical stakeholders
  
• Hands-on experience in experimentdesign and model valuation
  
• Expertise with ML system design,model deployment, and production ML systems
  
• Experience in engineeringproduction-grade GenAI features with robust validation, sanity checks, andstructured outputs to mitigate hallucination and business risk
  
• Proficiency with AWS stackrelated to ML (e.g. Sagemaker, Lambda, Stepfunctions, IAM)
  
• Strong software engineeringfundamentals and best practices (CICD, Test-Driven Development, Infrastructureas Code)
  
• Experience translating businessobjectives into technical roadmaps and deliverables
  
• Ability to balance technicalexcellence with business priorities and timelines
  
• Strong stakeholder management andcross-functional collaboration skills
  

Nice to have

• Experience in subrogation, claimsprocessing, insurance or financial technology
  

English level

• Upper-Intermediate
