Job Readiness Trainer · Freelance - immediate start

StartSteps offers intensive bootcamps to equip aspiring professionals with skills and knowledge to transition into a new technical career. As part of these bootcamp programs, the learners are required to participate in a series of Job Readiness sessions intended to prepare them for a career in the German job market and support them in their job search.

We are looking for two Trainers for our SAP training programs:

• One part-time Trainer for our SAP Financial Accounting cohorts with immediate start.

• One part-time Trainer for our new SAP program focused on Procurement and Sales starting in January 2027.

The Job Readiness Trainer is a crucial role focused on the delivery and teaching of the Job Readiness series. The Job Readiness sessions will be taught in English for international talent entering the German market. The series will be delivered to cohorts of mid-career professionals.

We have multiple cohorts planned for the 2027 calendar year, so this role could be responsible for delivering multiple series of sessions concurrently, up to roughly 20 hours per week. Trainings occur one to two days per week Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm.

Tasks

• Manage multiple course curriculums, in total delivering 1-2 full-day training sessions per week.

• Teach courses on employability topics: including: CVs for Germany, interviews, job searching, using LinkedIn; and soft skills topics including: conflict management, problem solving, teamwork, communication and workplace culture.

• Focus advice on German hiring norms.

• Give structured feedback to students and set short challenges.

• Prepare a short weekly outcomes update.

Requirements

• 4+ years in Germany in HR/recruiting, coaching or hiring partnerships.

• Proven facilitation skills in a field related to job readiness or employability.

• Strong portfolio of relevant training materials or guides.

• Fluent in English as well as strong German skills.

• Reliable setup for live session delivery.

• Available to start either immediately or in January 2027.

• Learners are able to consistently pass “soft skills” interviews during their job search.
