About the Role

Zencore is seeking a proven, dual-threat executive to serve as Head of Engineering and Delivery.

In this role, you will be the primary architect of Zencore’s technology vision and the operational leader responsible for scaling our global delivery practice. You will ensure delivery quality across a multi-geo workforce, drive technical innovation, and serve as a prominent technical executive across our enterprise client base and the Google Cloud ecosystem.

This is a pivotal executive seat requiring a balance of deep technical credibility in cloud/AI, disciplined services operations (margin, utilization, governance), and executive presence to co-sell alongside Google Cloud field leadership.

Responsibilities

1. Technical Strategy & Leadership

• Define Technical Vision: Set the overall technology strategy, solution architecture standards, and innovation roadmap for Zencore, keeping us at the forefront of cloud, data engineering, and agentic AI.

• Productize Services & IP: Drive the evolution of Zencore’s proprietary assets and repeatable frameworks.

• Market Presence & Thought Leadership: Serve as Zencore’s primary technical voice in the market—speaking at major ecosystem events, authoring whitepapers, and building relationships with Google Cloud go to market, product and engineering teams.

2. Professional Services & Delivery Operations 

• Global Delivery Model: Scale and govern an agile, multi-geographic delivery structure across North America, LATAM, and EMEA, ensuring seamless cross-geo resourcing and delivery consistency.

• Portfolio Governance: Establish rigorous quality gates, RAID management, and project health reviews to ensure engagements land on time, on budget, and beyond SOW expectations. Personally serve as executive delivery sponsor for strategic enterprise accounts.

3. Go-To-Market & Google Cloud Alliance

• Executive Pre-Sales & Deal Shaping: Partner with sales leadership on complex enterprise pursuits—shaping technical architectures, scoping SOWs, leading technical pitches, and converting opportunities into revenue.

• Hyperscaler Channel Alignment: Build deep, trusted relationships with Google Cloud Account Directors, Regional Directors, and PSO leadership to position Zencore as the preferred co-sell partner for complex enterprise accounts.

• Account Expansion (Land & Expand): Drive organic account growth by embedding discovery mechanisms into active delivery, converting one-off modernization projects into continuous, multi-year AI and managed service relationships.

Qualifications

• 15+ Years of Experience: Extensive track record leading complex technology programs, with 7+ years in an engineering leadership role within a professional services firm, systems integrator, or cloud consultancy.

• Deep Google Cloud & AI Experience: Hands-on technical background and deep architectural credibility in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), modern data platforms, and enterprise AI/GenAI implementations.

• Proven P&L & Operations Ownership: Accountability for professional services revenues, including billable utilization, gross margin optimization, blended rate card management, and delivery risk management.

• Hyperscaler Co-Sell Experience: Demonstrated expertise navigating cloud partner ecosystems, co-selling alongside field sales teams, and leveraging partner incentive programs (e.g., Google RAMP/MDF).

• Multi-Geo Delivery Expertise: Direct experience building and leading remote, distributed delivery organizations across onshore, nearshore, and offshore regions (US, LATAM, EMEA).

• Executive Presence: Ability to engage effortlessly with C-suite executives (CTOs, CIOs, CDOs) as a trusted advisor, translating complex technical trade-offs into clear business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience at Google Cloud, a Premier Google Cloud Partner, or an enterprise Systems Integrator.

• Active Google Cloud Certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, or AI/ML Specialist).

• Experience navigating Private Equity governance, reporting, and value-creation milestones.
