German-Speaking Lead / Founding Doctor - Poland based

Skin + Me is a mission-driven start-up with seriously big skin goals.

We’re looking for licensed Doctors / Physicians based in Poland who are fluent in English and German to join our incredible Medical Team at Skin + Me.

This role will be part of a team that specialises in prescribing skincare products to patients based in Europe, initially in Germany, using our digital dermatology platform. This is a fully remote role, with the physician based in Poland.

About the role:

Joining the Medical Team at Skin + Me is an opportunity to develop your clinical expertise in dermatology within a unique, fast-moving and collaborative environment, working alongside some of the best minds in dermatology across Europe.

You will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and personalised dermatology care to our patients in Germany, while helping us continuously improve how dermatology is delivered digitally.

Previous experience in dermatology is advantageous but not essential. Structured onboarding, training and clinical support are provided for the role.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with clinical humility, sound judgement, strong communication skills, and the confidence to work autonomously.

Who you are:

• Fully qualified Medical Doctor holding a full, unrestricted Right to Practise as a Physician (Prawo Wykonywania Zawodu Lekarza, PWZ), issued by your Regional Medical Chamber (Okręgowa Izba Lekarska) and listed in the Central Register of Physicians maintained by the Supreme Medical Chamber (Naczelna Izba Lekarska)
• Hold a valid PWZ number, enabling you to issue prescriptions
• Hold a valid EU medical licence and are authorised to treat patients in Germany (e.g. German Approbation or recognised EU qualification permitting cross-border care)
• Based in Poland, with the legal right to work there
• Hold a C1 Certificate in Medical German
• Professional fluency in English, to work with our English Medical Team
• Passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience
• Comfortable working autonomously and making clinical decisions independently, detail-oriented, thoughtful, and confident managing patients digitally

What you’ll do:

• Review patient consultations, assess medical histories and clinical images, and diagnose, prescribe and manage treatment plans for patients in Germany
• Be trained to a high level of clinical competency, enabling you to diagnose and manage common skin conditions including acne, melasma, hyperpigmentation and skin-ageing concerns
• Once trained, work independently within agreed clinical pathways, making your own prescribing decisions and escalating complex cases when appropriate
• Act as a point of escalation for patient queries, working closely with our Customer Support Team and our dermatologists to ensure we provide the best care
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our consultation model, clinical pathways and digital workflows within a dynamic start-up environment
• Maintain a strong focus on clinical quality, patient safety and prescribing governance
• Work closely with our in-house medical leadership and wider clinical team, and continuously develop your clinical knowledge through regular CPD sessions with our dermatologists
• Monitor and uphold prescribing safety and quality standards

What to expect:

• Founding Doctor of our Medical Establishment, with possible leadership opportunities as we hire more Doctors in the next 6 months
• Remote working in Poland
• Full time, permanent employment contract (umowa o pracę), 40 hours per week - working patterns can be negotiated
