WORK INFORMATION

Work Location: Fully remote / Work from home

Working Days: Monday–Friday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM

Probation Period: 3 months

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Design & Modeling

• Assess at concept stage whether a mechanic can hit target RTP, volatility, max-win
  
• Build full math models: reel strips, virtual reel weighting, symbol weights, paytables, Wild/Scatter substitution, bonus trigger probabilities, retrigger chains, feature EV
  
• Solve to target RTP; produce multi-RTP variants (94% / 96% / 98%) per jurisdiction
  

Validation

• Monte Carlo at 10M–100M+ spins; verify trigger distributions, payout spikes, max-win reachability
  
• Verify the engineering build reproduces the model — sign off before submission
  

Certification

• Author the PAR sheet for independent test labs
  
• Design within constraints — e.g. GLI-11 requires highest advertised payout to occur at least once per 50,000,000 game cycles
  

Post-launch

• Compare field data against theoretical CIs; investigate deviation outside 95%
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mathematics / Statistics / Actuarial Science / CS / Physics
  
• Combinatorics, probability, EV, variance, confidence intervals
  
• Python / C++ / C# / Java for simulation
  
• Advanced Excel modelling (used daily, not a formality)
  
• Has written PAR sheets that passed lab certification
  
• Can explain complex math to non-technical stakeholders
  
• Nice to have: multi-jurisdiction (MGA, UKGC, Curaçao, PAGCOR, Ontario), LDW disclosure requirements, mentoring experience, jackpot/progressive math.
