OVERVIEW

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an E-commerce Operations & Customer Support Coordinator. Our client is a US-based e-commerce business in the clothing industry, looking for a reliable and detail-oriented coordinator to support their day-to-day operations. This is a remote role that requires consistent availability and alignment with US Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. The right candidate will be someone who can be trusted to take clear instructions, execute them accurately, and keep things moving without the need for follow-up or correction from the business owner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle customer inquiries and communications across email, WhatsApp, and other platforms in a timely and professional manner
Create, update, and maintain online product listings for clothing items, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all entries
Manage general administrative tasks and day-to-day operational responsibilities as directed
Keep product information, records, and internal systems organized and up to date at all times
Monitor and respond promptly to messages, requests, and instructions throughout the workday
Manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities simultaneously without compromising quality or turnaround time
Proactively flag issues, follow through on outstanding items, and take full ownership of assigned responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS

Matric (Grade 12) as a minimum qualification; a National Diploma or relevant NQF Level 6 qualification is advantageous
Proven experience in a customer service, e-commerce, or administrative support role
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home office setup for remote work
Strong written English communication skills with a professional and customer-friendly tone
Comfortable working during US Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours
High degree of digital literacy, including confidence using email platforms, messaging tools, and online systems

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Prior experience managing product listings on e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar
Experience supporting a business owner or senior stakeholder in a remote capacity

Familiarity with the clothing or retail industry, including product categorization and terminology
Experience using project management or task-tracking tools such as Trello, Asana, or Notion
